Theological / DevotionalWhat is before thee. Or, “who is before thee.” This is good advice to one unaccustomed to the rich supplies of a ruler’s table. Tempted to indulge his appetite, or thirst, a man might display gluttony or lose control of his tongue and spoil his opportunity for further service.
