Theological / Devotional

A wise man is strong. The LXX renders the first clause, “A wise man is better than a strong man.” The translation of the KJV may be taken to teach that since a wise man in Solomon’s view is one who fears God, he has on his side not only the considerable might of wisdom but the added might of right.
