Theological / Devotional

Hast thou found honey? Compare chs. 24:13; 25:27. This verse is not primarily dietetic counsel, but a dietetic principle illustrating the maxim of Prov. 25:17. To have too much, even of a good thing, is to turn the good into an evil. Even spiritual instruction can become a surfeit, if those who continually seek to receive do not balance their receiving by imparting to others.
