Theological / Devotional

Thy sleep. Sleep is a relinquishing of the vigilance of waking hours, leaving the sleeper at the mercy of his enemies and in an unconscious state resembling death. He who is obedient to the counsel of the Lord can he down in full awareness of the possibilities of danger and death, yet drift off like a weary child into quiet and untroubled sleep.
