Commentary on Proverbs 30:5
Theological / DevotionalWord. Heb. ’imrah, not occurring elsewhere in Proverbs. ’Imrah is found in the psalm from which the thought may have been taken (Ps. 119:140). The Lord has especially guarded His Word. To those who learn to rely upon it, the Word becomes a perfect shield and protection.
Pure. Literally, “refined” (see Ps. 12:6).
