Theological / Devotional

Brought forth. Heb. chil, “to writhe” and “to tremble”; in a few cases, “to bring forth [as a child].” Chil is used in Ps. 90:2 for the forming of the earth. Here it is used in a metaphorical sense to refer to wisdom.
