Theological / Devotional

The plague. The prophet returns to a discussion of the fate of the nations attacking Jerusalem. The attackers will suffer the scourges of a terrible plague, extraordinarily rapid in its destructiveness. The plague creates a state of frenzy and panic resulting in mutual extermination (v. 13).
