Theological / Devotional

Our captain. The comfort and strength that Judah claimed was that God was with them, to fight their battles and direct their ways (see ch. 32:7, 8).

Sounding trumpets. See Num 10:8, 9.

Against the Lord. No man who fights against God can hope ultimately to prosper.
