Theological / Devotional

Preaching. A form of the Greek verb euaggelizo (see on ch. 13:32). Both teaching and preaching had to be done to set forth Jesus as the Saviour, and to instruct in the way of life for God; doubtless this was especially essential for Gentiles, who, it was becoming clear, were now partakers of the new covenant under the gospel.
