Theological / Devotional

Knew not the scripture. They did not understand the OT Scriptures predicting the resurrection. They were like the disciples on the way to Emmaus, whom Jesus upbraided with the words, “O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken” (Luke 24:25; cf. vs. 26, 27). A significant OT prediction of the resurrection is Ps. 16:10 (cf. Acts 2:24-28).
