Theological / Devotional

Shine forth. Gr. eklampo, “to shine forth,” implying the idea of light bursting forth with sudden brilliance, as of the sun coming out from behind a dark cloud. A vivid contrast is apparent between the utter gloom that surrounds the wicked and the joy that marks the saved.
