Theological / Devotional

Be offended. Literally, “be tripped up” (see on ch. 5:29). They would fall away or apostatize. Believers would lose their “first love” (Rev. 2:4). On the apostasy of the early Christian centuries see on 2 Thess 2:3, 4.
